AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9, SECTION
9 -3 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 1962 (ORDINANCE No.
4381)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Chanter 9, Section 9 -3 of the Municipal Code of
the City of South Bend, Indiana, 1962 (Ordinance No. 4381).
be amended by adding the following sub - section after sub - section
(2):
(2a) Section 113.0 is amended by adding thereto the following
paragraph prior to subsection 113.1:
"A building permit shall not be issued to any nerson for a
building or structure unless and until such person has complied
with the provisions of the Subdivision Ordinance, as amended,
if applicable. where applicable, a certificate of annroval
and recording pursuant to the subdivision ordinance shall be
obtained prior to the issuance of a building nermit."
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full. force and effect from
and after its passage, approval by the Mayor, and legal
publication.
