AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO
ACCOUNT 363, "OTHER OFFICE SUPPLIES," IN THE
AMOUNT OF $150 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME
FROM ACCOUNT 213 "TRAVELING EXPENSES," ALL
BEING IN THE FAIR EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES
COMMISSION FUND.
WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the
adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary
to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget
for the various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary
conditions; and,
WHEREAS, Additional funds are needed by the South Bend Human Relations
And Fair Employment Practices Commission to purchase additional office
supplies to assure its ability to properly perform its function; and,
WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently
needed, therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
Section I. That the sum of $150 be transferred from Account 213,
designated as "Traveling Expense ", and transferred and appropriated
to Account 363, designated as "Other Office Supplies," both accounts
being within the Fair Employment Practices Commission Fund,
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the
Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements of emergency appropriations.
