AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 WITHIN FUND 212 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING
FOR COSTS OF COLLECTION
Statement of Purpose and Intent:
In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of Community Development Block Grant
funds in accordance with the permissible uses of CDBG Program Income, certain appropriations are
needed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated for costs of collection, including, but
not limited to: redemption of properties, upon which the City has a mortgage, at tax sale; and lease
commissions on property which produce program income.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the
Common Council and approval by the Mayor.
