AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF $110,15.00 BY THE WATER WORKS OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR T'_RE
PURCHASE OF `.DATER MAIN PIPE OF CAST IRON
OR DUCTILE AND FITTINGS FROM THE
JAILS B. CLOW u SONS, INC. AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXPENDITURE OF $9,175.14 BY THE WA1ER
WORIMS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
FOR THE PURCHASE OF MECHANICAL JOINT GATE
VALVES FROM THE JAMS B. CLOW u SONS, INC.
DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR 1967.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CO-MON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the dater 'dorks of The City of
South Bend, Indiana is hereby authorized to enter
into separate contracts for the purchase during the
calendar year 1967, from the James B. Clow 6, Sons, Inc.,
for the following water main pipe of cast iron or
ductile, as the purchase of the same is -required in the
operation of the said 'slater Works in a total quantity
and at a total cost of not to exceed the quantity and
cost itemized for each classification of water main
pipe:

together with 12 tons of cast iron fittings in the
amount of $6,348.00, for the total amount of $110,158.00
and the execution of said contracts pursuant to the terms
of this Ordinance is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Water Works of The City of
South Bend, Indiana is hereby authorized to enter into
separate contracts for the purchase during the calendar
year 1967, from the James B. Clow and Sons, Inc. for the
following mechanical joint gate valves, as the purchase
of the same is required in the operation of the said
Water Works in a total quantity and at a total cost of
not to exceed the quantity and cost itemized for each
classification of valves:

SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and approval by
