AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
TO ACCOUNT XX25t;, "REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT" IN
THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF
THE SAME FROM ACCOUNT XX7Z1r, "MOTOR EQUIP-
MENT" IN THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT ALL
BEING IN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the annual budget for the various functions of City government
to meet such extraordinary conditions; and,
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend
Sanitation Department to make certain repairs of equipment to
assure the department's ability to properly perform its
functions.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the sum of $5,000.00 be transferred from
Account XX72t, "Motor Equipment" and transferred and appropri-
ated to Account XX25 /, "Repairs of Equipment" both accounts
being within the General Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval
by the Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all
statutory requirements of emergency appAopriations.
