AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF $44,017.90 BY THE WATER WORKS OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA FOR THE
PURCHASE OF WATER METERS FROM THE NEPTUNE
METER COMPANY DURING THE CALENDAR YEAR
1967.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I: That the Water Works of The City of South Bend,
Indiana is hereby authorized to enter into separate contracts
for the purchase during the calendar year 1967, from the
Neptune Meter Company, pursuant to advertising and the receipt
of bids, of the following water meters, as the purchase of
the same is required in the operation of the said Water Works
in a total quantity and at a total cost of not to exceed the
quantity and cost itemized for each classification of water
meter, and the execution of said contracts pursuant to the
terms of this Ordinance is hereby approved:
