AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $15,000
FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE BUILDING, DEMOLITION,
REPAIR AND CONTINGENT ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the
adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary
to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual
budget for the various functions of city government to meet such
extraordinary conditions; and,
WHEREAS, Additional funds are needed by the Building Department for
demolition of buildings and structures, therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
Section I. That the sum of $15,000 be appropriated from the General
Fund to the Building, Demolition, Repair and Contingent Account to
meet such extraordinary conditions.
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the
Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements of emergency appropriations.
