AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
$14,011.25 BY THE WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE
PURCHASE OF MOTOR VEHICLES DURING THE CALENDAR
YEAR 1967.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the Waste Water Treatment Plant of the City of
South Bend is hereby authorized to enter into separate contracts for
the purchase during the calendar year 1967, pursuant to advertising
and the receipt of bids, of the following motor vehicles, as the
purchase of said units is required in the operation of the Waste Water
Treatment Plant, at a total cost of not to exceed the cost itemized
for each classification of vehicle, and the execution of said contracts
pursuant to the terms of this ordinance is hereby approved:
2 Dump Trucks, 2400 lbs. gross 9 ,131.40
vehicle weight $- X133:114
1 3/4 ton Pick -up Truck 1,949.35
1 1 -1/2 ton Cab and Chassis 2,930.50
$14,011.25
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
