AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF $19,468.49 BY THE WATER WORKS OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE
PURCHASE OF MOTOR VEHICLES DURING THE
CALENDAR YEAR 1967.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the Water Works of the City of South Bend is
hereby authorized to enter into separate contracts for the
purchase during the calendar year 1967, pursuant to advertising
and the receipt of bids, of the following motor vehicles, as the
purchase of said units is required in the operation of the
Water Works, at a total cost not to exceed the amount of
$19,468.49 and at a unit cost of not to exceed the cost itemized
for each classification of vehicle, and the execution of said
contracts pursuant to the terms of this ordinance is hereby
approved:
3 2 -door sedans $4,566.18
2 4 -door sedans 3,560.13
4 van body trucks 7,694.14
(1 3/4 tonal 41Iak ton pick -up truck 1,949.35
1 3/4 ton cab and chassis 1,698.69
$19,468.49
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
