CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND.
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING A
COMMUNITY ANTENNA TELEVISION FRANCHISE
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
AND VALLEY CABLEVISION CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day-,of August, 1966, the Board of Public
Works and Safety of the City of South Bend agreed to and entered
into a franchise contract with Valley Cablevision Corporation for
the erection, construction, operation and maintenance of a
community antenna television system in the City of South Bend,
Indiana, a copy of which franchise contract is attached hereto
and marked Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, said franchise contract has been submitted by the
Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend,
Indiana to the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana
for its consideration and action thereon; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. The franchise contract for a community antenna
television system in the City of South Bend, Indiana agreed to
and entered into by the Board of Public Works and Safety with
Valley Cablevision Corporation on the 22nd day of August, 1966,
be, and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval
by the Mayor of the City of South Bend, Indiana.

NOTICL
This will notify you, pursuant to Section 78.15(b) of
the Rules and Regulations of the Federal Communications Commission,
that on the 16th day of February, 1973, Valley Cablevision
Corporation, 52580 Dixie Highway North, South I3end, Indiana, filed
an application seeking authority to operate a new cable television
relay station (Local Distribution Service), which station is to be
used to relay the signals of television broadcast stations listed
in the attached exhibit to licensee's cable television systems also
listed in the attached exhibit. The mailing addresses of the said
cable television systems are the same as that listed above for
Valley Cablevision Corporation.
Dated this 16th day of February, 1973.
