AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
$1,523.63 FROM THE 1960 GENERAL STREET
IMPROVEMENT FUND AND $6,469.45 FROM THE
MUNICIPAL BONDS OF 1961 FUND TO THE
GENERAL SINKING FUND OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA.
WHEREAS, the purposes for which the 1960 General Street
Improvement Fund and the Municipal Bonds of 1961 Fund were
established have been completed; and,
WHEREAS, there are balances remaining in said funds which
are unencumbered and uncommitted; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the following sums of money be and are
hereby ordered transferred to the General Sinking Fund of the
City of South Bend, Indiana:
1. $1,523.63 from the 1960 General Street Improvement
Fund.
2. $6,469.48 from the Municipal Bonds of 1961 Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its
approval by the Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of
all statutory requirements of emergency appropriations.
