SLOUGH ORDINANCE N0. 4950_67 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.3702 ADOPTED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND ON THE 14th DAY OF JUNE, 1949, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 3701 adopted by this Common Council upon the 14th day of June, 1949, more commonly known as the zoning ordinance, be amended by rezoning of a certain parcel of land located in the City of South Bend, St.Joseph County, State of Indiana, known and described as follows, towit: A part of the North Half (z) of the South East Quarter (4) of Section 8, Township No. 37 North, Range No. 3 East, which part is bounded by a line running as follows, towit: Beginning at a point 1354.4 feet West and 62.5 feet South of the North East corner of the South East Quarter (4) of Section No. 8; thence South 275 feet; thence West parallel with the North line of said Quarter Section 188.32 feet; thence North 93 feet; thence East 10 feet; thence North 182 feet to the South line of Jefferson Blvd., in the City of South Bend, and thence East along the South line of Jefferson Blvd., 177.07 feet to the place of beginning, also A lot or parcel of land in the North half of the South East quarter of Section No. 8, Township No. 37 North, Range No. 3 East, which part is bounded by a line running as follows, viz: Beginning at the intersection of the East line of Thirty Second Street in the City of South Bend, with the North line of the right -of -way of the Grand Trunk and western Railroad Company, thence running East along the North line of said right -of -way a distance of 120 feet for a place of beginning; thence continuing East along the North line of said right -of- way of the Grand Trunk and Western Railroad Company a distance of 188.32 feet; thence north to the Southeast corner of the first above described tract a distance of 190 feet; thence West along the Southerly line of the above described tract 188.32 feet; thence north 27.9 feet; thence west 120 feet to the easterly line of 32nd Street; thence South along the easterly line of 32nd Street 132 feet; thence east 120 feet; thence South parallel with the easterly line of 32nd Street 82.23 feet to the place of beginning. from "A" Residence and "A" Height and Area District to "B" Residence District and "A" Height and Area District, and that said ordinance shall be in effect from and after its passage and legal publication. The following action was taken: After due consideration it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the proposed ordinance and site develop- ment plan be recommended favorably to the Common Council.
