ORDINANCE OF TAX LEVIES
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF
RAISING REVENUE TO MEET THE NECESSARY EXPENSE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
DECEMBER 31, 1968,
Be it Ordained by the Common Council of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana,
That:
There shall be levied upon each One Hundred Dollars of Assessed Valuation of
Taxable Property of the City of South Bend, Indiana for the fiscal year 1967,
to be collected in the year 1968 the following:

For GENERAL FUND, the sum of 4-.-2-1 dollars on each one hundred dollars of
Taxable Property. 3a,8
For GENERAL SINKING FUND (BOND), the sum of 33.0 cents on each one hundred

For PARK MAINTENANCE FUND the sum of 46.0 cents on each one hundred dollars
of Taxable Property. 1719
For PARK DISTRICT FUND, the sum of -_7-.& cents on each one hundred dollars of
Taxable Property. 15.4
For FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND, the sum of }6-9 cents on each one hundred dollars

For POLICEMEN'S PENSION FUND, the sum of !?.9 cents on each one hundred
dollars of Taxable Property.
For HOSPITAL FUND, the sum of 3_0 cents on each one hundred dollars of
Taxable Property.
For ART ASSOCIATION FUND, the sum of 1_0 cents on each one hundred dollars
of Taxable Property, A'0
For REDEVELOPMENT BOND FUND, the sum of -1472 cents on each one hundred
dollars of Taxable Property.
For REDEVELOPMENT FUND, the sum of 0 cents on each one hundred dollars of
Taxable Property.
For BUILDING DEMOLITION, REPAIR AND CONTINGENT FUND, the sum of 2_2 cents
on each one hundred dollars of Taxable Property.
For HUMAN RELATIONS AND FAIR EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES COMMISSION FUND, the sum
of � -cents on each one hundred dollars of Taxable Property.
