AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 40 -27 AND
40 -28 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, 19629 AS AMENDED,
ALSO KNOWN AS SECTIONS 10 and 11 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 3702, THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS
AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
Section 1•
That Section 40 =27 -(g) and 40- 28 -(g) of the Municipal Code
of the City of South
known as Sections 10
on Lots Recorded Aft
No. 3702, the Zoning
Indiana, as amended,
and read as follows:
Bend, Indiana, 1962, as amended, also
and 11, Attached Garages and Carports
�r the Adoption of Ordinance, of Ordinance
Ordinance of the City of South Bend,
is hereby amended so that same shall be
(g) ATTACHED GARAGES AND CAR PORTS ON LOTS RECORDED
AFTER APRIL 11, 1955. If, at the time of original construction
of a principal dwelling a garage or carport is attached, the
side yard requirements of this ordinance shall be met. If,
at the time of original construction of the principal dwelling
a garage or car port is not attached thereto, the side yard
requirements of this ordinance shall be met, provided, however,
that one side yard shall be not less than twelve (12) feet
in width.
Section 2:
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its enactment, approval by the Mayor and legal
publication.
