ORDINANCE NO. 4983 -68
AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
TO ACCOUNT fe-726, "OFFICE EQUIPMENT ", IN THE
$456 AMOUNT OF AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM
FROM ACCOUNT G-52, "RENTS ", IN THE OFFICE OF,
CITY ATTORNEY AND IN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the
annual budget for the various functions of city government to
meet such extraordinary conditions; and,
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Office of City
Attorney to assure its ability to properly perform its function, and
more specifically to provide funds for the purchase of a typewriter.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
$456.00
SECTION I. That the sum of -0 56.00 be transferred from Account
G -52, "Rents ", and transferred and appropriated to Account G -726,
"Office Equipment" both accounts being within the General Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by
the Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements of emergency appropriations.
