AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO
ACCOUNT MVH -12, "SALARIES AND WAGES, TEMPORARY"
IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000.00•.A1VD THE TRANSFER
OF SAME FROM ACCOUNT MVH -42, "STREET, ALLEY
AND SEWER MATERIALS ", ALL IN THE MOTOR VEHICLE
HIGHWAY FUND.
WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the annual budget for the various functions of city government
to meet such extraordinary conditions: at $
WHEREAS, Additional funds are needed by the Motor Vehicle
Highway Department to assure the department's ability to properly
perform its functions.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the sum of $20,000.00 be transferred from
Account MVH -42, "Street, Alley and Sewer Materials ", and transferred
and appropriated to Account MVH -120 "Salaries and Wages, Temporary"
both accounts being within the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund.
SECTION II.This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by
the Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements of emergency appropriations.
