AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FROM
THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF
$8,412.00 TO VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE MOTOR
VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary
to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget
for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary
conditions; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. That for additional expenses incidental to the
operation of the Street Department, there is hereby appropriated
from the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund to Account MVH -32 " Garage and
Motor Supplies ", the sum of $8,000 and to Account MVH -62, "Retire-
ment and Social Security" the sum of $412.00.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the
Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all statutory re-
quirements of emergency appropriations.
