ORDINANCE NO. 5000 -68
AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT XX -252,
"REPAIRS OF ECUIPIM=11, IN THE
XTOUNT OF $5,584.00 AND THE TRANS-
FER OF SAID SUM FR (IIi ACCOUNT XX -722,
"MOTOR EQUInIENT ", IN THE SANITATION
DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GEN-
ERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the
ption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropria
e money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions
city government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and,
WHEREAS, due to the increased use of the landfill, additional funds
needed by the South Bend Sanitation Department for the repair and mainten-
of its equipment, thereby assuring the department's ability to properly
orm its functions.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CCUMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
SECTION I. That the sum of $5,584.00 be transferred from Account
"Motor Equipment" and transferred and appropriated to Account XX -252,
of Equipment both accounts being within the General Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
