ORDINANCE NO 4999 -68
AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
IN ACCOUNT Q -262, "MEDICAL ", OF THE FIRE DE-
PARMI NT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $21000.00 AND THE
TRANSFER OF THE SAME AMOUNT FROM ACCOUNT Q -11,
"SERVICES PERSONAL", ALL BEING WITHIN THE
GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to
appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the
various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary conditions,
and,
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend Fire
Department for medical expenses for the balance of the year.
BEND, INDIANA:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAIM COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
SECTION I. That the sum of $2,000.00 be transferred from
Account Q -11, "Services Personal ", and transferred and appropriated to
Account Q- 262, "Medical ", both accounts being within the General Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the common council, its approval by the Mayor,
legal publication and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of
emergency appropriations.
