AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL
APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT Q -312,
"FUEL OIL" IN THE AMOUNT OF $700.00
AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM
ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL"
IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, ALL BEING
WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is
now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in
the annual budget for the various functions of city government to
meet such extraordinary conditions; and,
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend Fire
Department to assure the department's ability to properly perform
its functions.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the sum of $700.00 be transferred from
Account Q -11, "Services Personal ", and transferred and appropriated
to Account Q -312, "Fuel Oil" both accounts being within the
General Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and,after its passage by the Common Council, its approval
by the.Mayor, legal publication and the fulfillment of all
statutory requirements of emergency appropriations.
