HomeMy WebLinkAboutApproving a Contract Water Works Johns-Manville Sales Corp Amount $80,860.00ORDINANCE No. 5004 -68 Passed by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, May 27, - 19 68 Presented by me to the Mayor of the City of South Bend, 28 Approved and signed by Clerk of Common Council Clerk IOEALPRESS ORDINANCE NO. 5004-68 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY WATER WORKS OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AND THE JOHNS-MANVILLE SALES CORPORATION, INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ASBESTOS-CEMENT WATER PIPE AND PIPE FITTINGS IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $80,860.00. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I: That the contract entered into between the City Water Works of South Bend, Indiana, and the Johns-Manville Sales Corporation, Indianapolis, Indiana, on the 15th day of April, 1968, pursuant to advertising and receipt of bids, as the purchase of same is required in the operation of said Water Works in a total quantity and a total cost of not to exceed the quantity and cost itemized for each classification hereafter listed in the total amount of $80,860.00, is hereby approved and confirmed: 1,000 ft. 16" $ 7,370.00 4,000 ft. 1211 16,440.00 5'000 ft.
