ORDINANCE NO. 5027 -68
AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
TO ACCOUNT Iv -252, "REPAIRS OF EQUIRvENT" IN
THE ATMOUNT OF $150.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID
SUM FRG,. ACCOUNT 1,4 -722, "MOTOR EQUIPP.I;NT" IN
THE BUILDING DEPARTIMMT, ALL BEING WITHIN THE
GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since
the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to
appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the
various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary conditions;
and,
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South Bend Building
Department for repairs to office equipment, to assure the department's
ability to properly perform its functions.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COLIM COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the sum of $150.00 be transferred from Account
M -722, "P + -otor Equipment ", and transferred and appropriated to Account M -252,
"Repairs of Equipment ", both accounts being within the General Fund.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor,
Legal Publication and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements of emer-
gency appropriations.
