ORDINANCE OF TAX LEVIES
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES AND FIXING THE RATE OF TAXATION FOR THE PURPOS3 OF
RAISING REVENUE TO MEET THE NECESSARY EXPENSE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING
DECEMBER 31, 1969.
Be it Ordained by the Common Council of South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana,
That:
There shall be levied upon each One Hundred Dollars of Assessed Valuation of
Taxable Property of the City of South Bend, Indiana for the fiscal year of 1968,
to be collected in the year 1969 the following:

For GENERAL FUND, the sum of 2.5?2 dollars on each one hundred dollars
of Taxable Property.
For GENERAL SINKING FUND (BOND), the sum .18 cents on each one hundred
dollars of Taxable Property. .46
For PARK MAINTENANCE FUND, the sum of -59- cents on each one hundred
dollars of Taxable Property.
For PARK DISTRICT FUND, the sum of .073 cents on each one hundred dollars
of Taxable Property.
For FIREt+T.N'S PENSION FUND, the sum of .273 cents on each one hundred
dollars of Taxable Property.
For POLICEMEN'S PENSION FUND, the sum of .183 cents on each one hundred
dollars of Taxable Property.
For HOSPITAL FUND, the sum of .03 cents on each one hundred dollars
of Taxable Property.
For ART ASSOCIATION FUND, the sum of .01 cents on each one hundred dollars
of Taxable Property. .168
For REDEVELOPMENT BOND FUND, the sum of .148 cents on each one hundred
dollars of Taxable Property.
For REDEVELOPMENT FUND, the sum of 0 cents on each one hundred dollars
of Taxable Property.
For BUILDING DEMOLITION, REPAIR AND CONTINGENT FUND, the sum of .014
cents on each one hundred dollars of Taxable Property.
For HUMAN RELATIONS AND FAIR EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES COMMISSION FUND, the sum
of•0158+& cents on each one hundred dollars of Taxable Property.
For CUMULATIVE SEWER BUILDING & SINKING FUND, th� c'��%� cents on
