ORDINANCE NO. 5127 -69
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
SOUTH BEND
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CCMQON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the following described property in St, Joseph
County, Indiana, is hereby annexed to and brought within the City of South
Bend, Indiana, to -wit:
A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, and of the
Southwest Quarter of Section 23, in Township 38, North,
Range 2 East, described as beginning at the point of inter-
section of the center line of Lilac Road and the South
line of said Section 22, which intersection point is 435.90
feet West of the Southeast corner of said Section 22; thence
Northerly along the center line of Lilac Road 442.45 feet;
thence East 266,45 feet; thence North .62 feet; thence East
80 feet; thence North 224,1 feet, more or less, to an iron;
thence East on the South line of a tract owned by Melvin A.
Hauger and Rose Marie Hauger 192,42 feet, more or less, to
an iron, which is located on the present City Limits of the
City of South Bend on the West line of Lot 12 of Riverside
Manor Addition, First Section; thence Southerly along the
said City Limits of South Bend and along the West lines of
Lots 12 and 13 of said Riverside Manor Addition, First Section,
and continuing South on a line parallel with the West line
of said Section 23, which line is marked by an iron set in
the Northerly edge of Cleveland Road 50 feet North of the
South line of said Section 23, a distance of 668,1 feet,
more or less, to the South line of said Section 23; thence
West along the South lines of said Sections 22 and 23 a
distance of 551.2 feet, more or less, to the place of be-
ginning.
