Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana that:
Section 1 - Ordinance 4990 - Chapter 40 of the Municipal
Code (formerly Zoning Ordinance 3702) of the City of South Bend,
Indiana be and the same is hereby amended, supplemented, and
changed, to provide that the following described real estate
located in the City of South Bend, Indiana, to -wit:
Beginning at a point on the East bank of the
St. Joseph River, which point is 200 feet North
of the South line of Section 35, Township 38
North, Range 2 East, said point being on the
present City Limits of the City of South Bend,
Indiana; thence Northerly and Easterly along
ON the bank of the said St. Joseph River, being the

Section 2 - This Ordinance is to be in full force and
effect from and after its enactment, the approval of the Mayor,
and its publication according to law.

RespectfuUy report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the Ordinance be amended
to read as follows:
"The word "plot" be deleted from the last line in Section I
and the words "site developmant "be substitued."
And, the Ordinance go to the Council favorable as amended.

The attached ordinance originated by the Area Plan Commission
was legally advertised under date of October 11 and 18 and
given public hearing on October 21, 1969. The following
action was taken:
After due consideration it was moved, seconded,
and carried that the ordinance and previously
approved site plan be recommended favorably
to the Common Council.
Attached hereto and made a part of this report is an excerpt
from the minutes of the meeting.
