ORDINANCE NO. 5083-69
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 Section 61 OF THE SOUTH
BEND MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO OVERTIME PARKING.AS AMENDED.
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, that Chapter 25, Section 61 of the South Bend
Municipal Code (being Chapter 29, #60 of the 1949 Code) be amended
to read as follows:

Sec. - It shall be unlawful for any person to cause, allow, w o

Sec. - Every period of twelve minutes, or part thereof, in twelve o Hr

minute zones, every period of one hour, or part thereof, in one hour 10
zones, and every period of two hours, or part thereof, in two hour

zones, that any violation of the preceding section continues shall �.� 0.

Sec.-q-- Any motor vehicle left parked in any time limit zone, or VD

otherwise left improperly parked, in violation of the ordinances of Nih

have been abandoned and shall be caused to be taken to and stored in o

a suitable place by any member of the police department discovering
the same and held until such time as the owner thereof may be found.

Before the owner thereof, or his duly authorized representative,
may recover possession thereof he must pay all costs of removing
and storing said vehicle plus all fines that may have been in-
curred by reason of such parking violation.

Sec. * - This ordinance shall be in full force from and after its
adoption and publication as required by law.
