AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
TRANSFERRING $450,000 AMONG VARIOUS ACCOUNTS WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Statement of Purpose and Intent:
In order to assure the efficient and timely utilization of Community Development Block Grant
Funds in accordance with the community's Housing & Community Development Plan, transfers are
needed:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend,
Indiana, as follows:
SECTION I. The sum of $450,000 is hereby transferred among accounts as set forth below:

T'he attached bill for your consideration and approval will transfer $450,000 in Community Development
Block grant funds remaining at program end. The appropriation implements an amendment to the Plan.
The amendment is the subject of a 30-day public comment period beginning June 7, 2002 and ending at
noon on July 8, 2002. In addition, a public hearing will be held on June 20; 2002.
