An Ordinance Affecting 6.25 Acres, more or less, fronting on
the East side of Miami, 650 feet North of Jackson Road, which
is commonly known as the Goss property.
ORDINANCE NO. 5191 -7
An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing
Ordinance 990 - hapter 0 of Municipal Code
Formerly zoning Ordinance 3702 . A6 AMENDED.
Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana that:
Section 1 - Ordinance 4990 - Chapter 40 of the Municipal
Code (formerly Zoning Ordinance 3702) of the City of South Bend,
Indiana be and the same is hereby amended, supplemented, and
changed, to provide that the following described real estate
located in the City of South Bend, Indiana, to -wit:
Beginning at a point 653 feet north of and 40
feet east of the southwest corner of Section 30,
T37N, R3E, (said point is on the east right -of-
way line of Miami Road and the east line of
Annexation Ordinance No. 4788 -65, the Jackson
School property, and also the northwest corner
of Annexation No. 4759 -65, the north line thereof
being the present city limits of the City of
South Bend, Indiana); thence east on a line 653
feet north of and parallel to the south line of
said Section 30 following the present city limits
a distance of 1746.57 feet more or less to the
west line of Scottsdale Addition, Section D;
thence north following the west line of Scottsdale
Addition, Section D (which is the present city
limits of South Bend) a distance of 156.0 feet
more or less to the south line of Annexation
Ordinance No. 4295 -60 (which is the present cit1T
limits of South Bend); thence west following
the south line of Annexation Ordinance No. 4295 -60
and the city limits a distance of 1746.57 feet
more or less to a point 40 feet east of the west
line of Section 30, also being on the east right -
of -way line of Miami Road; thence south following
the east right -of -way line of Miami Road a distance
of 156.0 feet more or less to the point of beginning,
containing approximately 6.25 acres.

District Regulation classification and "A" height and Area in

Section 2 - This Ordinance is to be in full force and
effect from and after its enactment, the approval of the Mayor,
and its publication according to law.
