ORDINANCE NO. 5189 -70 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Ordinance 990 - Chapter 0 of Municipal Code ormerly oninR Ordinance 3707 S TMENDED. Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana that: Section 1 - Ordinance 4990 - Chapter 40 of the Municipal Code (formerly Zoning Ordinance 3702) of the City of South Bend, Indiana be and the same is hereby amended, supplemented, and changed, to provide that the following described real estate located in the City of South Bend, Indiana, to -wit: Beginning at a point where the south right -of -way line of Douglas Road intersects the west line of Section 34, T38N, R2E, which is a point on the existing city limits of the City of South Bend, Indiana; thence west following the south right - of -way line of Douglas Road a distance of 5280 feet, more or less, to a point on the west section line of Section 33, T38N, R2E; thence north along said west section line of said Section 33 a distance of 30 fee+ more or less to the north- west corner of Section 33, T38N, R2E; thence east or west as required to the southwest corner of Section 28, T38N, R2E; thence north on the west section line of aforesaid Section 28 a distance of 5280 feet more or less to the northwest corner of aforesaid Section 28; thence east or west as required to the southwest corner of section 21, T38N, R2E; thence north on the west section line of Section 21, T38N, R2E a distance of 2930 feet more or less to a point of intersection with the south right -of -way line of the Northern Indiana Toll Road; thence east and southeast following the south right -of -way line of the Northern Indiana Toll Road a distance of 6480 feet more or less to a point 15 feet east of the east right -of -way line of Maple Road (said point being on the present city limits); thence south and west following the existing city limits a distance of 5300 feet more or less to the place of beginning, all in Sections 33, 28, 21, and 27, T38N, R2E, and containing 855.8 acres more or less.
