ORDINANCE NO. 5186 -70 AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION TO ACCOUNT H -265, "OTHER CONTRACTUAL SERVICES" IN THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,200.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF SAID SUM FROM ACCOUNT H -12, "TEMPORARY HELP ", ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have de- veloped since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of city government to meet such extraordinary conditions, and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Board of Public Works and Safety for expenses incidental to the care of and showing of the Studebaker Historical Collection, and to assure that department's ability to properly perform its functions; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That the sum of $1,200.00 be transferred from Account H -12, "Temporary Help ", and transferred and ap- propriated to Account H -265, "Other Contractual Services ", both accounts being within the General Fund. SECTION II. DR - Per your discussion with Mr. Lloyd Taylor on JAMES A.BICKEL April 5, 1970 the Board of Public Works and `DOpsAL�ICN ARa Safety of South Bend wishes to enter into an . agreement with the Michiana Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club, Inc. to handle the public display of the Studebaker Historical Collection located at 221 W. Bronson Street, South Bend, Indiana. It shall be understood between the parties that S the Studebaker Drivers Club is to keep the vehicles in a presentable condition for public'. display; that the Collection shall be open•for public display on the first Sunday of each month between 12:30 PM and 5:30 PM. •'The City of South Bend agrees that the Studebaker Drivers Club shall be compensated $25.00 each month for the above'services. The City shall also reimburse the Club for any out -of- pocket miscellaneous expenses which may be required to perform the above function. -All requisitions are to be submitted in advance to the City Engineer for approval.
