ORDINANCE NO. 5107 -69
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,000 FROM THE
GENERAL FUND TO ACCOUNT B -242, "PUBLICATION
OF LEGAL NOTICES ", IN THE OFFICE OF CITY
CONTROLLER.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have de-
veloped since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that
it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated
in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government
to meet such extraordinary conditions; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Office of
City Controller to assure its ability to properly perform its
functions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That for the expenses of the Office of City
Controller, and in particular Account B -242, "Publication of
Legal Notices ", there is a need for additional funds, and there-
fore there is hereby appropriated from the General Fund the
following:
a. To Account B -242, "Publication of Legal
Notices ", the sum of $2,000
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its
approval by the Mayor, legal publication, and the fulfillment of
all statutory requirements of emergency appropriations.
