AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE MUNICIPAL
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, GENERALLY DESCRIBED
AS THE V.F.W. PROPERTY ON FILLMORE ROAD.
Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City of South
Bend, Indiana that:
Section 1 - The following described land, lying adjacent to
and forming a contiguous boundary with the present City Limits
of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, more particularly
described as:
Beginning at a point on the south line of Section 5,
T37N, R2E, 582.1 feet west of the southeast corner of
said Section; thence north parallel to the west line of
said one - quarter (1/4) Section a distance of 476 feet;
thence west parallel with the south line of said one -
quarter (1/4) Section 260 feet; thence south parallel
with the west line of said one - quarter (1/4) Section
476 feet to the south line of Said Section 5, which
also is the City Limits of the City of South Bend,
Indiana; thence east following the City Limits a distance
of 260 feet more or less to the place of beginning, con-
taining approximately 2.84 acres,
be, and the same hereby is, annexed as a part of the Municipal
City of South Bend, Indiana.
Section 2 - This Ordinance is to be in full force and
effect from and after its enactment, the approval of the Mayor,
and its publication according to law.
