AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OF SOUTH
BEND, INDIANA AND TEETER GMC TRUCK, INCOR-
PORATED OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE
PURCHASE OF ONE 45,000 GVW CAB AND CHASSIS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,275.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I: That the contract entered into between the Wastewater
Treatment Plant of South Bend, Indiana and Teeter GMC Truck, Incorpora-
ted of South Bend, Indiana, on the 5th day of January 1970, pursuant
to advertizing and receipt of bids for the purchase of one (1) 45,000
GVW Cab and Chassis in the amount of $10,275.00 is hereby approved and
confirmed,
SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and approval by the Mayor.

This truck is being purchased for use with the new sewer jet
vacuum catch basin cleaner. It is a necessity for the unit to
operate. A complete description of the actual performance is attached
to the Ordinance on the cleaning unit.
This truck was bid with the other City trucks and the low bidder
was Teeter QNC Truck, Incorporated. Since the bid conformed to.
specifications, the Board of Wastewater Treatment Plant Commissioners
