AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OF THE
BEND, INDIANA AND TRACTOR MART, Il
MICHIGAN, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE
LOW BOY 15 H.P. GARDEN TRACTOR IN
$2,050,00.

THE AMOUNT OF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
SECTION I: That the contract entered into between the Wastewater
Treatment Plant of the City of South Bend, Indiana and Tractor Mart,
Inc. of Niles, Michigan on the 4th day of January 1971, pursuant to
advertising and receipt of bids for the purchase of one (1) 1971 Cub
Low Boy 15 H.P. Garden Tractor in the amount of $2,050.00, is hereby
approved and confirmed.
SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption and approval by the Mayor.

RE: Wastewater. Treatment Garden Tractor
FROM: ,John L. Hunter, Director of Utilities
This unit also was bid through the Board of Public Works and Safety.
The bid was in order and conforms with specifications. This unit
will replace two self - propelled rotary mowers handling maintenance of
lawns and other properties of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. We
recommended that this bid be accepted and the Board of Wastewater
Treatment Plant Commissioners entered into a contract on January 4.
