ORDINANCE NO. 5245 -70
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN
STREETS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA:
SECTION I. That the names of the following
streets, avenues and roads within the city limits of
the City of South Bend be changed, as indicated
(a) That Nash Street from Clements
Street to Mayflower Road be renamed "Roger
Street ";
(b) That Washington Avenue from Olive
Street west to Bendix Drive be renamed "Bendix
Drive West ";
(c) That Colfax Road from Portage
Avenue to Riverside Drive be renamed "Boland
Drive ";
(d) That Douglas Road from Bendix
Drive west one mile be renamed "Lathrop
Street ";
(e) That Maple Road from Lathrop
Street to Cleveland Road be renamed "Bendix
Drive ";
(f) That Fillmore Road from Grand-
view Avenue to Mayflower Road be renamed
"Linden Avenue ",
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective
January 1, 1971.
