c),n AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE MUNICIPAL
CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, GENERALLY DESCRIBED
AS BEING BOUNDED BY LIBERTY HIGHWAY (IND. #23),
SOUTH OLIVE STREET, WEST EEING AVENUE AND KALEY
STREET.

'= Be it enacted by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana that:
Section 1 - The following described land, lying
adjacent to and forming a contiguous boundary with the present
City Limits of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, more
particularly described as:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
northerly right -of -way line of Prairie Avenue and
the east right -of -way line of South Olive Street
(which point is on the present City Limits line);
thence southwesterly to a point of intersection
of the west right -of -way line of South Olive Street
and the northerly right -of -way line of Prairie Avenue;
thence southwesterly along the northerly right -of-
way line of Prairie Avenue to a point of intersection
of this northerly right -of -way line of Prairie Avenue
and the west right -of -way line of Kaley Street (which
presently is a 30 foot wide 1/2 right -of -way); thence
north along this present west right -of -way line of
Kaley Street to a point of intersection with the
present City Limits line; thence east along the
present City Limits line to a point of intersection
with the east right -of -way line of South Olive Street;
thence south along the east right -of -way line of
South Olive Street to the point of beginning, contain-
ing 18.0 acres more or less, all in the northwest 1/4
of Section 22, T37N, R2E, Portage Township, St. Joseph
County, Indiana,
be, and the same hereby is, annexed as a part of the Municipal
City of South Bend, Indiana.
Section 2 - This Ordinance is to be in full force and
effect from and after its enactment, the approval of the Mayor,
and its publication according to law.
