HomeMy WebLinkAboutTransfer of Funds $12,500.00 Services Personal to Services Contractual General FundWHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to transfer funds in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and WHEREAS, additional funds are needed for the recodifying of City Ordinances, and to assure the Office of the City Clerk's ability to properly perform its functions; and WHEREAS, a surplus exists in "Services Personal" because of the elimination of City Court, and there is no longer any need for personnel formerly employed by the City Clerk's Office, and more specifically as follows; to -wit: $12,500.00 in "Services Personal" NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That the sum of $12,500.00 be transferred from "Services Personal ", and appropriated to "Services Contractual ", both accounts being within the General Fund. SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory require- ments for emergency appropriations.
