AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25 -7 OF THE MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of

SECTION I. That Section 25 -7 of the Municipal Code
(Code 1949, Chapter 29, Section 7) be amended to read as follows:
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passacre and signature by the Ma or

Sec. 25 -7. Same -- Determination of when and how turns to
be made; placement of markers, etc.
NThe
city traffic engineer is hereby authorized:
A
(a) To determine those intersections at which

drivers of vehicles shall not make a right,

left or "U" turn, and shall place proper signs

at such intersections.

To place markers, buttons or signs within or

adjacent to intersections indicating the course
ao
to be traveled by vehicles turning at such inter -

sections, and such course to be traveled, as so

indicated, may conform to or be otherwise than

that prescribed by law or ordinances.
(c) To determine and place signs at those intersec-
tions at which drivers of vehicles facing a

steady red signal may cautiously enter the

intersection to make the turn indicated by such

sign. After stopping as required such vehicular
traffic shall yield the right -of -way to pedes-
