ORDINANCE NO. 5223 -70
AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRI-
ATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,000.00 FROM
ACCOUNT Q -11, "SERVICES PERSONAL ", TO
ACCOUNT Q -43, "REPAIR PARTS ", IN THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT BUDGET, ALL BEING WITHIN THE
GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, certain

WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the South
Bend Fire Department for repair parts and to assure that
department's ability to properly perform its functions; and
WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where
it is not presently needed and more specifically as follows;
to -wit:
$4,000.00 in account Q -11, "Services Personal"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That the sum of $4,000.00 be transferred
from Account Q -11, Services Personal ", and transferred and
appropriated to Account Q -43, "Repair Parts ", both accounts
being within the General Fund.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in Full force
and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council,
its approval by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory
requirements for emergency appropriations.
