That the real property to be sold is immediately adjacent to the western boundary of the Indiana and Michigan Electric Company substation located at the intersection of Ironwood Drive and the Grand Trunk Railway right of way and is more particularly described as follows: A parcel of land beginning at the intersecting point of the South boundary line of the Grand Trunk Railway and the East line of Section 7, Township 37 North, Range 3 East, Portage Township, St. Joseph County, Indiana, said point of beginning also described as being located on the South boundary line of the Grand Trunk Railway, 14 feet West of the Northwest corner of Lot "H" in the Plat of Hastings, Woodward and Gray's Addition to the Town of River Park, now a part of the City of South Bend; thence continuing West along the South boundary line of the Grand Trunk Railway, 86 feet; thence South and parallel to the East line of Section 7, 133.45 feet; thence East and parallel to the South boundary line of said railway 86 feet, to a point on the East line of said Section 7; thence North along the East line of Section 7, 133.45 feet to the point of beginning. (This totals approximately 11,476 sq. ft. from the N.E. corner of the present POTAWATOMI PARK) That the said property shall not be sold until the same has been appraised by three (3) disinterested freeholders of the City appointed by the Judge of the Circuit Court of St. Joseph County, and such sale shall be for not less than the sum of such appraisement. Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its enactment, approvsl by the Mayor and legal publication.
