GAMMON 72 Clerk ORDINANCE NO. 5400 -72 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A NEW ACCOUNT WITHIN THE 1972 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, "DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, ACCOUNT NO. YY -11, 'SERVICES PERSONAL" ', AND TRANS- FERRING THERETO THE AMOUNT OF $10,208.33 FROM THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNT: "CITY CEMETERIES DEPARTMENT, ACCOUNT NO. N -12, 'SERVICES PER- SONAL"'. ALL BEING :iITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. STATEMENT OF PURPOSES AND INTENT The Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, has enacted an Ordinance establishing a cabinet form of govern- ment and creating a Department of human Resources and Economic Development and the office of the Director of said Department. There is hereby established within the 1972 annual budget for the City of South Bend, Indiana, the fol- lowing new account: Account YY -11 -- "Services personal- director" in the Department of Human Resources and Economic Development. SECTION II. The sum of $10,208.33 is hereby trans- ferred from Account No. N -12, "Services Personal" in the City Cemeteries Department to the following account, established by Section I of this Ordinance: Account YY -11 -- "Services personal - director "in the Department of Human Resources and Economic Development. (From June 1, 1972, through December 31, 1972) $10,208.33 SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval by the Mayor, and the fulfillment of all necessary statutory requirements. N -12, 'SERVICES PERSONAL' ", ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion go to the Council as favorable as amended. Councilman Miller made a motion that the ordinance be amended to change the amount to $7500 and the starting date to July 1st, 1972. Councilman Nemeth seconded the motion to amend.
