RE: Repair of Diesel Engines
Wastewater Treatment Plant
Notice to bidders for repair of two diesel engines appeared in
the South Bend Tribune and Tri- County News on November 26 and
December 3, 1971. Since these units are manufactured by
Worthington Corporation we did not expect any other bids except
from this company. The Board entered into a contract with
Worthington Corporation on December 6 after receiving the bid.
This ordinance asks for approval of that contract.
Attached is a copy of Vern Forsgren's report and approval from
David Wells, City Engineer helping with this project.
If further information is needed, please contact Louis Rague,
Superintendent, Wastewater Treatment Plant.
