ORDINANCE NO. 5350 -71 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCES 521.5 -70 AND O 5322 -71 PERTAINING TO SALARIES BY ADDING A r NEW POSITION. WHEREAS, since the enactment of Ordinances 5215- 70.and 5322 -71 establishing salaries to be paid city employees during the years 1970 and 1971, it has become desirable to establish a new position within the activity formerly described as Cooperative Area Manpower Planning System and now designated as the Manpower Area Planning Council, which new position is to be designated Youth Program Planner; and WHEREAS, it is anticipated that funds will be available from the Federal Government to pay the salary of the person occupying such new position, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: SECTION I. That Ordinances 5215 -70 and 5322 -71 are hereby amended by adding a new position to be known as Youth Program Planner at an annual salary of $11,000. SECTION II. That the salary of said Youth Program Planner shall be paid solely from Federal Government funds. SECTION III. That the said new position of Youth Program Planner shall not be created unless and until approved and funded by the Federal Government. SECTION IV. This Ordinance shall XeAn full force and effect from and after its passage and appra a by the Mayor.
