AN ORDINANCE FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION o
IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL en
FUND TO THE FOLLOWING ACCOUNTS IN THE MUNICIPAL
SERVICES FACILITY BUDGET: U -321, "GASOLINE ", �
$14,000.00; U -252, "REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT ",
$5,000.00; U -324, "OTHER GARAGE AND MOTOR =
SUPPLIES, $8,000.00; AND U -43, "REPAIR PARTS ", o
$8,000.00, ALL BEING WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. LLJ

WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now
necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the
annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet
such extraordinary conditions; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Municipal
Services Facility for gasoline, repairs of equipment, garage and
motor supplies, and repair parts, and to assure that department's
ability to properly perform its functions; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That the sum of $35,000.00 be appropriated
from the General Fund for the following accounts and in the amounts
set forth below:
Account U -321 "Gasoline" $14,000:00
Account U -252 "Repairs of Equipment" 5,000.00
Account U -324 "Other Garage & Motor Supplies" 8,000.00
Account U -43 "Repair Parts" 8,000.00
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval
by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements for
emergency appropriations.
