ORDINANCE NO. 5326 -71
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE
MUNICIPAL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA
GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS THE TWYCKENHAM
EDISON ROAD ANNEXATION
BE IT ENACTED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, that:
SECTION 1. The following described land, lying

adjacent to and forming a contiguous boundary with the present
City Limits of the Municipal City of South Bend, Indiana, more
particularly described as:
A tract of Land located in Section 6, Township 37
North, Range 3 East, more particularly described as
follows:

Beginning at a point forty (40) feet South of the North One -
quarter (1/4) corner of said Section 6; thence East along a
line.Forty (40) feet South of and parallel to the north line
of Section 6 Two Hundred (200) feet more or less to the ex-
isting City Limits; thence South along the City Limits Ninety
(90) feet more or less thence South West along the existing
City Limits Five Hundred Thirty (530) feet more or less to a
point on the West right -of -way line of Twyckenham Drive as
dedicated by the University of Notre Dame; thence northwesterly
along the West line of Twyckenham Drive to a point where
the West line intersects a line Forty (40) feet South of and
parallel to the North line of Section 6: thence East along a
line Forty (40) feet South of and parallel to the North line
of Section 6 Four Hundred and Sixty Five (465) feet more or
less to the point of beginning, containing 4.19 acres more or
less
be, and the same hereby is, annexed as a part of the Municipal
City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance is to be in full force and effect
from and after its enactment, the approval of the Mayor, and its
publication according to law.
