ORDINANCE NO. 5325 -71
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE I,
OF THE SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, MUNICIPAL CODE,
1962, AS AMENDED.
SECTION I
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA:
All of Chapter 20, Article I, except the number and
title thereof, is hereby deleted and the following is inserted
in place thereof. The 1964 edition of "BOCA Basic Housing
Code ", as amended, 1966 -1967, and as promulgated by the
Building Officials and Code Administrators International, Inc.,
four copies of which are on file with the City Clerk and thereby
made available for public scrutiny, is hereby adopted as the
official housing code of the City of South Bend, Indiana.
SECTION II
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval of the Mayor and legal publication.
