Agenda: Bill 66 -13 Reinstate One Non - Designated Holiday
With but one non - controversial item on the agenda, the hearing on bill 66 -13 lasted but four minutes.
City Controller Mark Neal made the bid presentation. As stated, the bill would designate Martin Luther
King Day as an official City holiday. It would also keep a floating holiday, keeping the total number of
holidays 10.
Valerie Schey motioned favorably, Karen White seconded, all agreed.
Dr. Varner adjourned the meeting at 3:53 P.M.
