ORDINANCE NO. 5527 -73
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $64,800.00
FROM THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND AND
$7,200.00 FROM THE CUMULATIVE CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR PROJECT R & S 53
(REVISED) - SAMPLE STREET FROM OLIVE
STREET TO CHAPIN STREET.
WHEREAS, there was enacted during the 1969 Session
of the Indiana General Assembly an Act, Chapter 392 of the Acts
of 1969, making available to cities, towns and counties for
engineering, construction or reconstruction of roads, streets,
and bridges under local jurisdiction, certain additional funds
to be derived from the 7th and 8th bents of Indiana motor fuel
tax and fuel use tax and from increases in fees levied under the
Motor Vehicle Act; and

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council
of the City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. The following sums of money are hereby

Street Fund and the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund for the
purpose of engineering plans and specifications for reconstruction
of Sample Street from Olive Street to Chapin Street.

In Section I, delete the word "the" in the fourth line and
insert the words "engineering plans and specifications
for" immediately following the words "purpose of ".
