AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO AND BRINGING
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SOUTH BEND,
INDIANA, CERTAIN LANDS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
South Bend, Indiana, that:
SECTION 1. The following described property in
St. Joseph County, State of Indiana is hereby annexed to and
brought within the City of South Bend, Indiana:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 31, Township
37 North, Range 3 East, more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 31, Township 37 North, Range 3 East;
thence Southerly along the North -South Centerline of
Section 31, 3538.73 feet; thence South 89 058121" West,
454.02 feet to Point of Beginning; thence continuing
South 89 °58121" West, 649.00 feet to the East line of
Gotham Drive; thence North 000o6100" West, 455.97 feet
along the East line of Gotham Drive to the Southwest
corner of Crest Manor Section Six (6) as recorded;
thence along said Section Six (6) North 89 054'00" East,
108.50 feet; thence North 74 028125" East, 125.01 feet;
thence North 58 058'28" East, 117.69 feet; thence North
43 °56149" East, 117.69 feet; thence North 28 055'05" East,
24.51 feet; thence South 57 044'31" East, 159.41 feet;

The property described in this proposed Ordinance is
the proposed Section 10 Crest Manor and is owned in its
entirety by Crest Manor Development Corporation, which
has requested that this annexation take place. This
particular area is surrounded on all sides by property
presently within the City of South Bend.
