ORDINANCE NO. 5465 -72
AN ORDINANCE FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN
THE CITY CLERK'S BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $240.00
FROM C -252 "REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT" TO C -725
"PROPERTIES" BOTH ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE
GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed
since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that
it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was
appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions
of City Government to meet such extraordinary conditions; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are needed by the Office of City
Clerk for Account C -725 "Properties" to assure that depart-
ment's ability to properly perform its functions; and
WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is
not presently needed and more specifically as follows,
to -wit:
$240.00 in Account C -252 "Repairs of Equipment"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
City of South Bend, Indiana:
SECTION I. That the sum of $240.00 be transferred from
Account C -252 "Repairs of Equipment" to Account C -725
"Properties" in the City Clerk's Budget, both accounts
being within the General Fund.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage by the Common Council, its approval
by the Mayor and the fulfillment of all statutory requirements
for emergency appropriations.
